Jungle BJJ would like to thank all who came to Fernando's seminar in Plzen on Saturday, June 14-15 2008.  The hospitality that Fernando and Jungle BJJ team members were shown (especially by Pavel and Mirka) was very much appreciated, and we look forward to returning the favor to those who visit us back in Prague.  Hope to see you guys soon!

On Tuesday, May 6th 2008, world-renowned 6th Dan BJJ Black Belt Paulo Caruso, personal instructor to former-UFC Light-Heavy Weight Champion Vitor Belfort and current UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, will be giving a seminar in Prague in-cooperation with Jungle BJJ.

Jungle BJJ would like to once again thank Paulo Caruso for the awsome seminar he gave lucky Jungle BJJ team members.  It was a great opportunity and experience that those who attended will not forget.  Hopefully, on his next trip back to Europe, we'll be seeing him again!

Jungle BJJ Team Members at COF 2008 - Kladno

On Saturday, April 12th 2008, 7 members of the Jungle BJJ Team competed in the Czech Open Fighting 2008 Grappling Tournament in Kladno, Czech Republic.  This tournament was put together by the Kobra Kladno Club (in conjunction with many other schools around the Republic), and had nearly 150 competitors in all.  How did Jungle BJJ do?

Results:

- 69kg Open Belt
1st     Jooboy

69kg - 77kg Open Belt
1st     Martin

77kg - 85kg Open Belt
2nd     Dizzy

86kg - 94kg Open Belt
1st      Sara

+94kg Open Belt
1st     Big Boy
2nd    Nando
3rd     Panda (only loss coming to his older brother Big Boy)

Congrats to all fighters who represented Jungle BJJ so well (except for Dizzy, who broke our first place streak in all categories ... thanks Dizzy! :P).  We look forward to participating once again in any future tournaments sponsored and organized by our friends at the Kobra Kladno Club!
